President - Jennifer Sanchez
The President shall be the chief executive officer for ASSMU; the president shall chair all Senate meetings and shall exercise general supervision over its operations, this includes maintaining authority to assign reasonable duties to any Senate Member. The President shall serve as the official representative of ASSMU and shall perform duties pertaining to the Office of President. The President shall work to maintain good public relations between ASSMU, the Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Monastic Community of Saint Martin's University as well as with the general public. Shall submit in writing an Executive Report weekly to the Executive Secretary no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting. The President shall present to ASSMU, in writing, a Presidential Report at the end of each semester. The President shall not have the right to vote unless there is a tie in the Senate and shall have the power to veto senatorial legislation, shall attend all ASSMU meetings, and shall undertake other duties relevant to this office. The President may delegate any duties that are deemed necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of ASSMU.

Vice President - Kevin Jones
Shall act as parliamentarian for the Senate, act as custodian for all ASSMU policy documents, review all legislation for constitutionality prior to consideration by the Senate and after the legislation’s passage, chair the Judicial Committee and answer any questions and settle disputes involving interpretation of the governing documents by Judicial Committee consensus (See Appendix A of ASSMU Bylaws), form and chair an Appeals Board (See Appendix G of ASSMU Bylaws), be the public relations representative for ASSMU and approve all public service notices, flyers, and/or all-campus emails, and any informational releases concerning ASSMU activities or its subordinate clubs, attempt to streamline and consolidate ASSMU “all-campus” emails by sending minimal notifications necessary to achieve maximum participation, publish and distribute a twice-weekly newsletter (See ASSMU Policy Code), generate awareness of ASSMU programs to the Saint Martin’s University campus community, publish ASSMU press releases to media groups, including the Saint Martin’s University Office of Communications, write and submit news article on behalf of ASSMU when deemed appropriate by the Senate, maintain all ASSMU bulletin boards, and be responsible for keeping the ASSMU website current and updated, either by performing duties of webmaster, or (as necessary) by hiring a webmaster with Senate

Activities Director - Dinah Sary
The Activities Director shall oversee ASSMU activities; sign all necessary event contracts binding ASSMU and its subordinate clubs; see that all necessary forms are processed in accordance with University policies and procedures; shall submit in writing Executive and Committee Reports weekly to the Executive Secretary no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting; shall inform the Saint Martin's Community and the Student Affairs Office in advance of each activity; shall serve as the chair of the Program Board (See Appendix D); shall be responsible for the encouragement of student participation in student government and campus activities; and inform ASSMU about activities and issues brought forth in the ASSMU meetings. The Activities Director shall be a voting member of the Senate; shall attend all ASSMU meetings; and shall undertake any other duties as assigned by the President.

Executive Secretary - Maranda Lamping
The Executive Secretary shall distribute an agenda at least one (1) academic day in advance of every ASSMU General Meeting; keep accurate minutes of all Senate meetings and special meetings; shall provide minutes of those meetings within two (2) working days following each meeting; shall be responsible for the appointment of Director of Elections and the Elections Committee (See Appendix F) with Senate approval; shall provide immediate supervision of the Director of Elections and shall be responsible for the general management of ASSMU Elections (See Elections Code); the Executive Secretary will be expected not to run for any Senate position or campaign for any candidates; if the Executive Secretary personally involves themselves with a candidate, the Executive Secretary will be asked to step down by the ASSMU President, at which point the President shall overtake the immediate supervision of the Director of Elections and Elections Committee; shall record attendance of all Senate meetings; shall be responsible for completing Senate office tasks as needed; serve as a member of the Finance Committee and Ad-hoc Judicial Elections Committee; shall be responsible for the encouragement of student participation in student government and campus activities; shall prepare in writing an Executive Report weekly no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting; and inform ASSMU about activities and issues brought forth in the ASSMU meetings. The Executive Secretary shall attend all ASSMU meetings; and shall undertake any other duties as assigned by the President.

Senator of International Students - Junqing Sun

Shall act as the formal representative of all ASSMU International Students, responding to their input, acting on their behalf and advocating for their interests, serve as a liaison to represent views and concerns of all International students, increase communication among International students, assist in planning on-campus activities that are welcoming to International students, and attend a minimum of two (2) International Student meetings/lunches per semester

Senator of Clubs - Angela Shirley
The Senator of Clubs is responsible for conducting a regular meeting with the presidents of all ASSMU-recognized clubs. The Senator of Clubs is also responsible for keeping the ASSMU Senate informed of club and organization activities and concerns; shall develop a Club Handbook by the eighth week of each academic year; shall be responsible for the encouragement of student participation in student government and campus activities; shall submit in writing a Senator Report weekly to the Executive Secretary, no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting; and inform ASSMU about activities and issues brought forth in the ASSMU meetings. The Senator of Clubs shall be a voting member of the Senate; shall attend all ASSMU meetings; and shall undertake any other duties as assigned by the President.

Senator of Commuters - Preston Wallace
Shall act as the formal representative of all ASSMU Commuter Students, responding to their input, acting on their behalf and advocating for their interests, serve as a liaison to represent views and concerns of all Commuter students, increase communication among Commuter students, assist in planning on-campus activities that are welcoming to Commuter students, and attend a minimum of two (2) Commuter Student meetings/lunches per semester

The Senator of Cultural Diversity - Ahmadou Seck
The Senator of Cultural Diversity shall work to vocalize and represent the needs of students of diverse nationality, ethnicity, race, class, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, and physical or mental ability; shall be an advocate for minority or oppressed groups or persons; shall create and promote events and activities that educate the community on cultural diversity; shall serve as a liaison to the Office of Intercultural Initiatives, where the Senator shall perform one half of his/her office hours; shall serve as the Chair of the “Intercultural Club Alliance” sponsored by the Office of Cultural Initiatives, attend all monthly meetings, and shall co-sponsor events and activities hosted and promoted by this body; shall be responsible for the encouragement of student participation in student government and campus activities; shall submit in writing a Senator Report weekly to the Executive Secretary, no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting; and inform ASSMU about activities and issues brought forth in the ASSMU meetings. The Senator of Cultural Diversity shall be a voting member of the Senate; shall attend all ASSMU meetings; and shall undertake any other duties as assigned by the President.

Senator of Non-traditional Students - Sharon Stukalo
Shall act as the formal representative of all ASSMU Non-Traditional Students, responding to their input, acting on their behalf and advocating for their interests, serve as a liaison to represent views and concerns of all Non-Traditional students, increase communication among Non-Traditional students, assist in planning on-campus activities that are welcoming to Non-Traditional students, attend a minimum of two (2) Non-Traditional Student meetings/lunches per semester.

Senator of Residence Life - Marvin Viloria
The Senator of Residence Life shall attend all Residence Hall Council meetings; shall work in association with Resident Advisors to plan programs in the residence halls; shall assist with advertising programs and relevant information for resident students; shall be responsible for the encouragement of student participation in student government and campus activities; shall submit in writing a Senator Report weekly to the Executive Secretary, no later than 12 noon, one (1) academic day prior to the ASSMU General Meeting; and inform ASSMU about activities and issues brought forth in the ASSMU meetings. The Senator of Residence Life shall be a voting member of the Senate; shall attend all ASSMU meetings; and shall undertake any other duties as assigned by the President.
